I wanted to share this personalized notebook I made for my friend Mimi. It was her birthday last week, and I wanted to put my new beloved Silhouette Cameo to good use to make her a little something. She is an incredible mom and wife, so I thought she’d enjoy a notebook that celebrates her family. (How great are all their names, and for this nature of this project, it’s pretty stinking awesome they all are conveniently four letters long!) If you caught my previous post, EAT SLEEP SLAY, you might know how obsessed I am with my Silhouette– it seemingly can do it all, and I’ve been on inspo-overload since bringing it home. Keep reading to see how easy it is to make a personalized notebook like this for someone you love!
With the help of my brand new Silhouette Cameo, I’m having SO MUCH FUN creating cut-outs from my wildest dreams. “Dream it up. Cut it out” couldn’t be a better tag line for Silhouette. The possibilities are infinite. I continue to be surprised at this machine’s capabilities, I feel like it can do just about anything. I’m excited to take my DIY to a new level with the professionalism and accuracy of this gadget! I love this earring card cut-out I did for my SISOO studs. Since my 2016 planner printable download has been such a hit (22,113 downloads and counting, OMG!!), I created a 2017 planner download (coming reallllllly soon!) and wanted an extra special DIY touch for next year’s binder.
Hola! If you’re following along on instagram, you know I’ve been working on a 30 day diet clean up. Whole 30, paleo, I’m not really sure what to call it. But I’m eating lots of clean, simple ingredients–no bread, sugar, processed carbs, nothing processed with ingredients I can’t pronounce. Just real food, real ingredients. I finished my first week, which included lots of fresh fruit and veggies, and lots of lean protein. I’m feeling great, but this weekend woke up wanting to indulge in something sweet–so instead of jumping entirely off the clean eatin’ wagon, I came up with this simple peanut butter chocolate chip “clean” recipe. Does the trick! I actually like these better than “real cookies” because I don’t feel the sugar crash after eating a couple. (In fact they are so satisfying I had a few for breakfast this morning shhhhhh. Back to fruit smoothies and hard-boiled eggs on Monday). See the full recipe below, and check out the quick video at the end of the post to show you how easy they are to put together.
